The Smith & Wesson M&P®15 AXE™ SBR with an 11.5-inch barrel is a purpose-built tactical rifle designed for high-performance suppressed shooting. Part of the “Ambi X Enhancement” (AXE) series launched in 2025, this Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) features the innovative GVAC™ (Gas Venting and Control) system. This proprietary technology significantly reduces gas blowback at the shooter’s face when running a suppressor, making it one of the most comfortable and reliable suppressed AR platforms on the market today.
